1. Agreement
By downloading, accessing, or using the Knotd mobile application (“App”) or website at audiobook-adventure-hub.vercel.app, you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Service description
Knotd provides digital educational content including book summaries, learning topics, audio lessons, and related features. Some features require a paid subscription (“Knotd Premium”).
3. Subscriptions and billing
3.1 Knotd Premium
Knotd Premium is an auto-renewing subscription that provides full access to book summaries, learning topics, and the AI assistant for the selected billing period.

Prices are displayed in the App before you confirm purchase. Apple processes payments for iOS purchases; Stripe may process payments on other platforms.
Monthly plan

- Length: 1 month (auto-renewing)
- What's included: Full access to all book summaries, learning topics, and the AI assistant for each monthly billing period.
- Price: Shown in App Store at purchase (fallback in app: HKD 49.99 / month)
Yearly plan
- Title: Knotd Premium (Yearly)
- Length: 1 year (auto-renewing)
- What's included: Full access to all book summaries, learning topics, and the AI assistant for each yearly billing period.
- Price: Shown in App Store at purchase (fallback in app: HKD 399.99 / year)
3.2 Apple App Store (iOS)
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation.
- Subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (or App Store account subscriptions).
- Restore purchases using Restore in the App if you reinstall or change devices.
3.3 Cancellation
You may cancel anytime. Access continues until the end of the paid period. No refund for unused time except where required by law or Apple policy.
3.4 Free tier
Knotd may offer limited free access (e.g. selected books). Free access may change at our discretion.
4. Account
You are responsible for your account credentials and activity. You must provide accurate information during onboarding and keep it updated.
5. Acceptable use
You may not copy, redistribute, scrape, or resell App content; reverse engineer the App; or use the App unlawfully.
6. Intellectual property
All content, trademarks, and software in the App are owned by Knotd or licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the App for personal learning.
7. AI features
AI-generated responses are for informational purposes only and are not professional advice.
8. Disclaimer
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YBIT IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be notified in the App.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
