1. Who we are
Knotd (“we”, “us”) operates the Knotd mobile app and audiobook-adventure-hub.vercel.app. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
2. Information we collect

3. How we use information
- Provide and improve the App and content library
- Process subscriptions and restore purchases
- Personalize learning paths and recommendations
- Send service-related notifications (if enabled)
- Analyze aggregate usage to improve Knotd
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where applicable: contract performance, legitimate interests, consent (e.g. marketing), and legal obligation.

Each provider has its own privacy policy. Payment data is handled by Apple or Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
6. Data retention
We retain account data while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, or dispute purposes. You may request deletion (see Section 9).
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls on backend systems. No method is 100% secure.
8. Children
Knotd is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in some regions). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact ybitapp@gmail.com.
In-app: Profile → Settings → account options; account deletion may be available via support or in-app delete flow.
10. International transfers
Data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards where required.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new date at the top and, for material changes, notify you in the App where appropriate.
